I'm going to do things a bit differently. This is about you; this is about telling your story.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Expect me to say silly things, that will make you laugh.

Whether it's your first time being photographed, or it's definitely not your first I'll be helping you with posing, promoting you to do things with your body that allow for natural movement. If you have ideas for your session, or in your posing, I am 100% willing & ready to collaborate with you. But you can also be someone who has no clue what they are doing but just needs helping embellishing a beautiful life moment.

When booking with me you typically go through an inquiry first. If you are a referral than it automatically advances you to the next round.

The next round consists of choosing a date & location area with the help of an initial client questionnaire. No matter the session of your choice (whether it's wedding, portrait, studio, etc.) it will be geared towards our time together - the more information you give to me, the better off I am planning an authentic session for you and anyone else that may be joining you for your session.

After penning in your date on the calendar, which means you'd have signed the contract and paid your retainer - you & I are ready to rock n' roll.

We start brainstorming for your session, chat about your vision, and just get to know one another so our vibrations are stronger when time comes to photograph together.

Brainstorming can be you & I creating a Pinterest board, collecting our thoughts on a shared notes app, or even a more in depth questionnaire to really understand where your head is at. We decide on the style you are going for based on scenery you've chosen in your location(s), what outfits you might be wearing, and what kind of theme or props we get to play off. If at anytime you need help with outfit colors, inspiration, or even style to wear - I am happy to provide my opinion when asked. Color Theory was something I studied before graduating college. At any point, I'd love to help answer your questions, like "What do you think of this outfit?" or, "Can I show you my dress?"

Leading up to the sessions I will confirm exact times based off the photography timer app on my phone. It gives best opportunity of timing block based off lighting and it's literally never let me down. But of course, if you want earlier - that is always fine too (I say this because, you will notice I always offer later PM availability than expected). I'll also send you some day of tips, or a prep guide depending on what kind of session you selected for yourself. Things like, pick out your good side when you pose in front of a mirror, make sure you try your outfit on before the day of, and things like "what not to forget on wedding day".

Once session day hits and we are ready for the performance of a lifetime, we will start by chit chatting and allowing me to get my gear (and myself) together. I typically have always arrived early whether because I'm traveling far and want to say hi to the couple I've never met before starting to photograph their wedding day; maybe because I want to make sure the location is solid, and we aren't going to run in to delays - but ultimately because I want to prepare myself & my mind to be present and enjoy having a great time helping enhance your moments and collecting your memories.

During the session I prompt you in specific ways to pose that allow you to create natural movement & look stunning while you're at it. If it's for an event or wedding day you can 100% expect to feel like I am just a little fly on the wall. My approach to those types of sessions are more hands-off to allow natural timeline & connection be present while I am capturing these extremely authentic moments candidly so they show real time and ambience. When it comes to any and all portrait time, especially boudoir - you can definitely expect to even see me get into those poses for you, that way you know exactly what you're supposed to be doing and there is no room to feel awkward, maybe just a little silly.

After our session together, I will head home and begin copying/filing your memories to be prepared for editing. Pending your sessions and their locations, will depend when you see your immediate sneak peeks (usually 12 hours - 72 hours of wait time), sneak peek gallery (3 days to 7 days), and weddings/events (2 weeks to 10 weeks). It also depends on the busy season *which is spring & fall for me), where you can expect your wait times to be on the longer side as stated above.

Once your photographs are finished in the editing portion of my workflow, and renamed - they will be uploaded to your lifetime digital gallery. Here you are able to create favorites lists, purchase artwork and prints, and create save the dates and other exciting announcements. Of course you can download the photographs, share them directly to social media, or even email the download code and link to your families and friends.

Once we are finished with the main gallery is when your albums, photo illustrations, polaroids, thank you mail, print credit, or film & prints, will be sent to you whether in snail mail or in email.

Then you just find me when you need your moments captured for the next time!

I'm here for you.

You just let me do most of the work! All I need from you is for you to be clothed, and to FEEL confident!
